The second annual charity sock sale at Lenny's Shoe Store across the state of Vermont took place Saturday.
For a good cause, if you bought sock anytime Saturday at the store, part of the profits went to the Samaritan House in St. Albans, Vt., COTS in Burlington, Vt., and the Good Samaritan Haven in Barre, Vt.
For every pair of socks sold, Lenny's donates a dollar along with Smart Wool and Darn Tough sock companies donating a par of socks for every pair sold.
"We're just very happy to have it every year. I think people stock up on socks for the holiday season and that just again they buy them for a good cause," Bobbie Jo Roby, District Manager, said.
The charity sale ran until Sunday.
