International Search for Triple Homicide Suspect

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. -

New York State Police say they believe a man suspected of killing three people in Canada entered New York.

While they say Justin Bresaw was spotted in the North Country, they don't think he's there anymore.  Police would not say where the 35-year-old might be.

Police say Bresaw is considered armed and dangerous.  That's because police say he's responsible for a deadly house fire in Amos, Quebec.  The scene is about 370 miles northwest of Montreal.

Police have not said whether the three people were killed by the fire or were dead before the fire started.  Police say Bresaw rented a room in the basement of the home.

Now from Amos, police say it appears Bresaw traveled south.  On Thursday, Quebec police say they found his car in Havelock, which is just across the border from Mooers, New York.

That's where they suspect Bresaw crossed the border.

New York State Police investigated two possible sightings of Bresaw on Wednesday; one in Mooers and one in the Town of Plattsburgh.

Police say Bresaw is 5'9" and 150 pounds, with brown eyes and bald.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
