Vermont State Police Identify Troopers in Danville, VT

DANVILLE, Vt. -

Vermont State Police identify the troopers involved in the Danville, Vt. shooting incident Tuesday night.

According to a press release, the troopers who responded to the incident were Sergeant Brian May, Trooper 1st Class Seth Loomis, and Trooper 2nd Class Sean Brennan.

May fired his weapon during the incident. The press release says he is currently assigned as a patrol commander at the St. Johnsbury Barracks, but is on paid administrative leave as per State Police policy.

May was hired on August 27, 1997.

State Police say they are still investigating.
