BRISTOL, Vt. -

Vermont State Police say someone shot out two stop lights that help control traffic on a one-lane bridge on Route 116 south of the village of Bristol.

Police say there has been an ongoing issue with suspects shooting out the traffic lights on the one-way bridge on Vermont Route 116.

At about 12:35 a.m. Tuesday police responded to another report of gun shots near the bridge.

Responding troopers determined that the two south-bound green lights had been shot out.

Witnesses reported an older grey Toyota regular cab truck with a wood body and loud exhaust was seen in the area.
