There is an effort to make sure first responders all across Vermont are trained to spot potentially dangerous meth labs.
With the leaves already starting to turn we can't help but think about fall. So we headed to a local farm to check out the pumpkin patch!
It was a great summer for pumpkins at Sam Mazza's Farm largely due to the weather. Pumpkins thrive under dry conditions and, in spite of some heavy summer rain, it was largely a dry season.
Add the heat and some pumpkins are ready for the picking.
"The continued heat is causing things to ripen faster. Most of the pumpkins in the field now are orange so we'd like to see Halloween moved up to the end of September if possible," Laurie Bombard, who works at the farm, said.
Halloween's not for another month but pumpkin picking season gets underway soon. Pumpkin patch rides at Sam Mazza's Farm starts next Saturday.
