9/11 First Responders Will Be Able to Get Treatment For Cancers

First responders at the World Trade Center after the September 11th attacks will be able to get treatment for more than 50 types of cancer.

Federal Health Officials announced Monday, responders exposed to toxins from the wreckage will be covered under the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act.

Volunteers and survivors who meet certain criteria will also be eligible for coverage.

At first, cancer wasn't covered by the $4.2 billion health fund.

Now there is 58 types of cancer added to that list.
