New York State Police Investigating Two More Flare Gun Incidents

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. -

New York State Police are investigating two more flare gun incidents.

Police say Fuller Construction reported a lighted road sign being struck and damaged by a flare gun. According to a press release, the sign was functioning on Friday but on Monday, the sign wasn't working properly.

A home in Peru, N.Y. was also shot by a flare gun. A press release says the flare broke a window and then became lodged in a vacuum that was next to the window.

New York State Police are still investigating two other flare gun incidents in the Plattsburgh, N.Y. area.

A flare was shot at a pull-behind trailer in the Sam's Club parking lot. Police say a dark colored van was caught on surveillance video and showed a flare being shot from the van.

A flare was also shot at a mobile home in Schuyler Falls, N.Y. The flare gun was shot twice, one flare went through a window and became lodged in a wall. The other became stuck in the vinyl siding.

No one was injured from these incidents.
