LEICESTER, Vt. -
Vermont State Police are looking for a minivan driver who struck a girl and didn't stop.
State police say the hit-and-run happened a little after 6 p.m. Tuesday on Lake Dunmore Road in Leicester.
The girl told police she was walking down the road when a blue minivan with a spare tire mounted on top hit her. Police said the van's passenger side mirror was reportedly damaged.
The girl was being evaluated for injuries.
State police ask anyone with information to contact them.
