
I must admit to my "oopsie" moments! And this is one. I did some math mid last week looking at average temperatures and possible records for this summer season. I posted a blog about my findings of what I had calculated to be the warmest meteorological summer on record. Oopsie...I definitely made a miscalculation somewhere along the way. I had calculated the average temp as 72.5 degrees, but really the number is supposed to be 70.9....that may not seem like much, but it is the difference between #1 warmest, and tied with #6 warmest in the year 1999.
My apologies for the poor math skills at the moment in time.
