Tonight's full moon is known as the Blue Moon! I'm not talking color, or a delicious unfiltered adult beverage, but just a farmer's term to identify the rarely seen second full moon in a month. 

Did you know? It could depend who you talk to! Some people don't just give the term away to any 2nd full moon in a month, but save it only for the 4th full moon in a season!

No matter who you ask tonight, the term applies for August 31st, 2012 as this is both the 2nd full moon of August AND the 4th full moon this summer season.
