Police: Fires in Fairfield and Enosburgh Vermont Were Intentionally Set

ENOSBURGH, Vt. -

Police and fire officials say the fires in Enosburgh and Fairfield Vermont were intentionally set.

Four of the fires were in Enosburgh and one was in Fairfield, Vt.    

A press release says that no one was hurt as a result of the fires.

Three of them were barns, one was a home and the last was an old schoolhouse on Bradly Hill Road in Fairfield.

No one was living at the home because it was up for sale, that was on Duffy Hill Road.

Two barns on the property were also destroyed. There was a separate barn that burned on a different property.

The first call came in around 2 a.m. A total of more than $208,000 in damage was done.

The State Police is asking anyone with information to call the Vermont Arson Tip Award Program at 1-800-32-ARSON (up to a $5,000.00 reward) or the St. Albans State Police Barracks at (802)-524-5993.
