Vermont's information and referral helpline is looking for volunteers.
Vermont 211 is a catch all help hotline funded by the state and the United Ways of Vermont.
Employees refer callers to state agencies and non-profits where they can get assistance for things like substance abuse help, financial help and employment.
Right now they are looking for emergency disaster relief volunteers, general volunteers and housing volunteers.
Experience with social services is helpful.
