Sunday's stormy weather forced the Lake Champlain Dragon Boat festival to wrap up early.
Due to the rough conditions, the medal ceremony took place just after lunch time.
One of the top teams, Puff-Ta-Kum-Ta Dragons, a boat filled with cancer survivors and counselors from the Ta-Kum-Ta Camp for kids with cancer came in 3rd.
"Camp is the safest place in the world," Bill Dunn of Camp Ta-Kum-Ta said. "It's the best place for kids, the best for counselors and it's a family beyond all understanding."
There were more than 60 teams competing in this year's race. The Green Mountain Cross-fit team took home the gold.
