Isn't it great when your boss is on vacation and the office can relax? Well, that might change with Microsoft's robot prototype.

Your supervisor could be on vacation and in the office at the same time. It's controlled remotely, as long as the user has access to the Internet and a webcam.

So your boss could be on the beach, with a laptop, checking in on you. The robot would also have wheels, several cameras, and an HD display.

It can roam around the office, attend a meeting, or chat face-to-face with someone.

It's still just an experiment, Microsoft think it's a matter of time, because Wi-Fi and 4G networks are almost everywhere.
