Philip Brooks, chief deputy of the Orleans County Sheriff's Department, said they received a 9-11 call at around 12:40 p.m. from someone saying a person was in their parking lot running over cruisers with a 'large tractor'.

Brooks said 8 vehicles were damaged, including a van used to transport inmates, 6 cruisers and a bookkeeper's vehicle.

A person is in custody. Brooks did not know if the person was under the influence.

No injuries were reported.
