Governor Andrew Cuomo is coming under fire for an alleged ethics violation while he served as attorney general.
According to the New York Times, a former state police superintendent says Cuomo told him not to get a lawyer during a state investigation because that would convey a sense of guilt.
Cuomo disputes the account.
He says no one from his office ever told anyone not to be represented by counsel.
