The Energy Co-op of Vermont and Oil Heat Cares are searching for a family or non-profit organization in need of new heating equipment, according to a release sent out. They say they are doing this to help out with the rising fuel costs.
Once a selection is made, the co-op will install a new furnace at no cost. So, how can you apply or recommend someone? Email the following information to info@ecvt.net.
your name and address
the name, address and phone number of the person, family, or non-profit that you're recommending (Chittenden County only, please)
how they heat their home, and,
the reasons why they need this new heating equipment but are unable to purchase it themselves (in 200 words or less)
