Man Who Crashes Into Several Cars in Burlington, Vt. Pleads Not Guilty to 3 Charges

BURLINGTON, Vt. -

The driver who crashed into several cars on Pine Street in Burlington, Vt. around 5 p.m. Tuesday afternoon pleaded not guilty to 3 misdemeanor charges of reckless vehicle operation, simple assault and marijuana possession.

Police say the driver who caused the crash, Byung Lee, 29, of Pennsylvania, smashed head-on into another car. Lee, going 80 mph, damaged 12 vehicles, including his rental car in the crash.

Lee and a woman were taken to the hospital.

Prior to the crash, police say, Lee smoked marijuana and found more than 10 grams of it in his car.

According to prosecutors, Lee has no criminal history and is being held on $10,000 dollars bail.
