SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. -
A South Burlington woman is not hurt, after a very close call Monday afternoon. She says she could have ended up, under someone's car.
South Burlington Police say a driver drifted to the right, taking out the mail box and more than 15 cedar hedges. The the tire tracks show the driver kept going and never stopped. There were plenty of witnesses on busy Spear Street when this happened.
The homeowner wants the driver identified. "I speculate it was someone either texting and driving, drunk driving or drugged driving, normal people don't run 15 feet off the road and do thousands and thousands of dollars worth of damage," Lynn Cummings said.
