(AP) - Two public meetings will be held next month on a plan to study last year's spring flooding in the Lake Champlain Basin and Richelieu River and to prepare for and prevent future damage.

A public meeting will be held Tuesday, Aug. 7, in Saint-Paul-de-l'FIle-aux-Noix,  Quebec. A second meeting will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 8, in North Hero from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the community hall.
