Thunder, lightning, hail... and a lot of rain.
The storms that struck Tuesday night did some damage to North Beach in Burlington. But today, it looked more like the calm after the storm. Beach go-ers weren't phased by the trees that lost their branches or the flash rain that still stands in the parking lot.
In fact, the storm came as a welcome relief.
"A lot of needed rain, it pushed out this hot, humid weather, but it was a thunderstorm," Marc Boucher, a camper at North Beach said.
Tuesday's storm knocked out power to more than 10,000 Vermonters.
