I'm an actress.
My first acting gig was when I was 5 years old. Home movies, anything we could think of from killer bugs to space monkeys to some random little film.
I think that got me sucked into making films. It was such a fun time for me.
My favorite role so far was a film called Dead Creek, a local horror film. A short film that was only 17 or 18 minutes long. I was in a primary role in that was really exciting for me. That was one of my first big roles.
It was shot beautifully so it was fun to see the film go around to different festivals and be recognized.
I went to one of them in Philadelphia. It was really cool to sit in the audience with all the people who are seeing it for the first time. I could hear their reactions and see what they thought of it - hearing a full grown man scream.
The hardest roles are the narrative roles. Scenes where it's straight talking and pure emotion because that's the only thing in the scene - it's just you, the facial expressions and the lines. I think that's more challenging then when there is a ghost in the scene because that's the excitement. Of course it brings chills to everyone.
I don't really have to think to hard about acting because I just pretend I'm the character of whoever it is. Something real comes to life and I love that about acting.
I'm still looking for something so if someone has a script...find me.
