7.17.12 Severe Storms Rake Vermont, New York, and New Hampshire

It has been a wild day around our region. As expected, severe storms raked through our region. The biggest threat today was for damaging winds, which certainly came to fruition.

The threat for severe weather is slowly diminishing tonight, but until the front clears to our south by early Wednesday morning, we still are at risk of scattered thunderstorms, some of which will be strong to locally severe.
