Velcro is a great little guy that was surrendered by some concerned
citizens in the town of Plattsburgh, New York. He was a traveling
companion of Emily. When he entered the shelter he was very afraid and
hid most of the time. The poor guy also had a diarrhea illness and was
very uncomfortable. He was seen by a vet, medicated, and still had
diarrhea. Under the vet's advise we started giving him forti flor (a
probiotic) and a food supplement that helps the food get broken down for
easier digestion. After only two days of using the supplement the
diarrhea stopped and he was much more happy! Velcro is very sweet and
affectionate and happy to be around other cats. Velcro is now residing
with some other cats in the cat kennel room and he enjoys napping on a
nest of blankets. He is very social and is happy to be out of his cage.
