TICONDEROGA, N.Y. -
A man who police say shot another man and then led authorities on a hunt is dead.
Police say Jimmy Joe St. Andrews shot another man multiple times on Montcalm Street in Ticonderoga, N.Y. Friday.
The victim was taken to Albany Medical Center. St. Andrews then left the scene on foot.
According to a press release, police discovered the body of a man they believed to be St. Andrews near Mount Hope Cemetery Monday afternoon.
Police say he shot himself. An autopsy is being conducted.
