BRATTLEBORO, Vt. -
(AP) - Police in Brattleboro, Vt., have arrested a man wanted on a charge in New Hampshire.
Police went to an apartment on Saturday morning after getting a report of a fight. When they got to the apartment, they found 36-year-old Timothy Wainwright hiding under a pile of clothes on the floor.
Wainwright was arrested as a fugitive from justice. He was wanted in New Hampshire for violating parole in relation to a felony larceny conviction.
Wainwright was ordered held on $100,000 bail. A woman at the apartment, 28-year-old Lisa Akey, was arrested on suspicion of hiding Wainwright and for lying to police.
