Police Still Searching for Plattsburgh Walgreens Robber

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. -

Police in Plattsburgh are still searching for an armed robber Wednesday morning.

According to police, a man walked into the Walgreens on Route 3 around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday and demanded Oxycodone.

The man handed over the clerk a note, saying, he had a knife. The knife was never shown during the robbery.

Police say the man stole a large quantity of oxycodone which had an estimated street value of $30,000.

The man who took off running is considered armed and dangerous.    

The robber is described as being a white male in his late 20s to early 30s, approximately 6'0 tall, a goatee and having a thin build. He was wearing a light colored hoodie and a black hat.
