ROYALTON, Vt. -
Vermont State Police arrested a Connecticut man for traveling at excessive speeds on I-89 South in Royalton, Vt. Wednesday.
Police say Radha-Krishna Pillai, 37, of Trumbull, Conn., was going 100 MPH and passing other vehicles in a dangerous manner with his 3 young kids in the car.
He faces negligent operation, excessive speed and reckless endangerment of a child charges.
Pillai is due in court in August.
Right now, Vermont's HEAT campaign is underway which is designed to reduce traffic fatalities.
