One of two men shot during an attempted home invasion in Winooski has died, according to police.
Police say Trinelle Cox, 26, of New York, died Monday. He was shot by a tenant while trying to break into a home on River Street last month, police said.
Police say an autopsy has been scheduled to determine the exact cause of death.
Angel Concepcion, 23, also of New York, has been charged in connection to the incident. He remains in jail.
Investigators continue to follow-up on leads and say there might be additional arrests.
