MAIDSTONE, Vt. -
Police in Maidstone, Vt. are investigating a fatal crash on Route 102 Sunday.
Police say a car driven by Robert Sanders, 73, failed to make a turn while riding his motorcycle. He was thrown from his bike as it flipped over and collided with some trees.
Sanders, police say, was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police do not believe alcohol or speed appear to be factors in the crash.
