GREENSBORO, Vt. -
A Vermont police department says speed does not appear to be a factor in a car crash that killed the 64-year-old driver of a car in Greensboro.
Hardwick police say the car went off Bend Road at about 4:30 p.m. Thursday and struck several trees.
The operator was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
The name and gender of the operator was not released.
The body of the driver was taken to the office of the Vermont Medical Examiner to determine the cause of death.
