To tag along with meteorologist Steve Glazier's blog from earlier Monday, I figured I would add another tidbit or two with the upcoming heat!
Our Sky Tracker weather team is currently forecasting the hottest stretch of weather so far this year. A streak of 80s and 90s all through this week will make it a week for the air conditioners. The 2 hottest days should be Wednesday and Thursday (in the 90s), with 2 days of bookend 80+ degree heat Tuesday and Friday.
So far this year, only 1 of the major weather observation stations around our region has seen 90 degrees. Lebanon, NH reached 90 once in April of this year. Check out the warmest temps so far recorded this year for a few other select cities, and then compare that with the heat to come Wednesday and Thursday.
