The Community Health Centers of Burlington is set to open a new building this morning.
It's called the Gateway Project and Riverside Health Center Facility in the North End on Riverside Avenue.
The grand opening will be at 10 a.m. Monday. Senators Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.) as well as Congressman Peter Welch (D-Vt.) and Mayor Miro Weinberger (D) will be in attendance.
The more than $10 million project will help serve more people in the area. There are now more than 25 exam rooms, 12 rooms for dental work, and almost 10 counseling rooms.
The Community Health Centers of Burlington serves about 14,000 patients each year.
