(AP) - The public will have a chance to visit the Vermont National Guard's Fallen Heroes Memorial at Camp Johnson this Memorial Day weekend. The memorial and the Vermont Veterans Memorial Library and Museum will be open on Saturday and Monday, Memorial Day, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The memorial was dedicated on Sept. 11, 2008. The library and museum feature the history of military men and women of Vermont from the American Revolution to now. Visitors to Camp Johnson in Colchester must show a valid photo ID to get in. The memorial and library and museum will not be open to the public on Sunday.
