On Wednesday, Fox44 aired a story about flags stolen from two homes on George Street. Not only
U.S. Senator Patrick Leahy, D-Vt., heard about the story and decided to take swift action.
"When he heard that on the news he got right on the horn and said look…get the flags over there," said John Tracy, aide for Leahy.
Tracy delivered the flags to the homeowners on Thursday. Those flags had once flown over the U.S. Capitol.
