Some Vermont Plumbers Take Offense to VP Biden's Comments

KEENE, N.H. -

Comments Vice President Joe Biden made during his New Hampshire trip Tuesday isn't sitting well with a certain profession.

During his Keene campaign stop Vice President Biden was attacking republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney's qualifications.

He said Romney's background in private equity makes him as qualified as a plumber, which he says isn't enough experience to run the country.

That's not something some Vermont plumbers find amusing.

"I guess after 20 plus years of the science and technology that I have had. I'd probably go toe-to-toe with Joe Biden on that," said Ledge Hill Plumbing & Heating owner Kenneth Sullivan.

This isn't the first time a plumber has gained national attention with an Obama campaign.

During 2008 then Senator Barack Obama got into a heated debated with now congressional candidate "Joe the Plumber" over tax breaks.
