BURLINGTON, Vt. -

A Florida woman has been sentenced to nearly four years in prison after pleading guilty to charges she conspired to fly to Vermont a on a monthly basis to sell oxycodone pills to Burlington-area drug dealers.

Court records indicate 47-year-old Raelynn Fudge of Inverness, Fla., obtained prescriptions in Florida for the pills, then traveled to Vermont from July 2010 through December 2010 and sold them.

Records show that the pills fetched a higher price in Vermont than in Florida.

Fudge pleaded guilty in November.
