Seasonal hiring is heating up for the summer.
A new survey from Career Builder finds almost 30% of companies are planning on bringing in new workers this summer.
This time last year, only 20% of companies surveyed were hiring.
That number has held steady since the economic downturn began in 2008.
The survey points to four industries that will take the lead in job creation this summer. Almost half of all manufacturers say they'll bring on seasonal workers. The hospitality industry, retail and finance jobs will also need help over the summer.
