SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. -
This was the scene outside 60 Proctor Avenue in South Burlington Friday morning.
Federal Drug Enforcement agents and police officers spent hours searching through the home and cars out front.
During that time two people were arrested.
Police say Ryan Orvis and Maria Hunton had been selling crack and heroin out of Orvis' home.
Court documents show police conducted two undercover operations on Orvis and Hunton.
They say last June the pair sold an undercover agent heroin and in November they sold another agent crack.
As a result, Orvis and Hunton are charged with knowingly and intentionally distributing a controlled substance.
Orvis remains behind bars, a judge released Hunton to her parents.
Her father, who sat in the Burlington courtroom supporting her, was quiet as he left.
"Anything you want to say," ask Fox 44 News?
"No comment," said Alan Hunton.
We spoke with many neighbors on Proctor Avenue who didn't want to go on camera, but they told us they weren't surprised the pair was arrested.
They say there were many times a lot of cars were parked outside the home late at night.
Both are due back in court next week.
