EAST BURKE, Vt. -
Vermont State Police are investigating a fatal motor vehicle accident in East Burke, Vt.
Police say, the passenger of a truck that went into a river somewhere in Burke or Lyndon didn't know where the driver of the truck, Timothy Goodhue was.
Search crews and police located the vehicle on Brook Road, in a small stream. Goodhue was found behind the wheel submerged in the water and was declared deceased by rescue personnel. Delorme was transported by private vehicle to NVRH.
Police say they believe alcohol and speed may have been a factor in the crash.
Anyone with information about this crash is asked to contact Trooper Charles Winn at (802)-748-3111.
