Vermont State Police arrested a man for using excessive speeds on I-91 south in Westminster, Vt.
Police say, Michael-Joseph Thompson, 18, of Rosedale, N.Y., was, according to radar, traveling at 109 mph as it passed a vehicle on the road.
Thompson was released and is due in Windham District court in June for charges of careless and negligent operation and excessive speed.
