Personally, I'm looking forward to warmer weather. Let it be known, despite LOVING cool, crisp weather in the fall and springtime in New England, I'm also a sucker for hot, humid weather (I guess it makes me feel like I'm on vacation in Florida). So when I see warmer weather in the forecast, I get a little excited.
Having said that, it's not going to be all THAT warm this weekend, but we'll make a run back to the lower 70s in a lot of the warmer valley locales. It's been a while since we've had a warm stretch of 70°+ temps. In fact, over the month of April and May, we've only been at or above 70°, 5 times. I know...not bad at all for April and May (we usually still are contending with SNOW on the ground, right?)
I'm not trying to be greedy, but I'm ready for some warmth! Temps should manage near 70 for at least the next 3-5 days beginning on Saturday. Check out the 7-day forecast by clicking here.
Looking a bit farther down the meteorological road, we may make a turn to warmer weather in the longer range, 8-14 day forecast. The climate prediction center puts out 6-10 day and 8-14 day forecasts for temperature and precip. Both show above average conditions (and drier than average conditions) for these time frames.
