ST. JOHNSBURY, Vt. -
An employee for the Department of Public Safety has been cited for stalking.
Police say, a female victim came to the St. Johnsbury Police Department stating that John Wallek, 61, of Lyndonville, Vt., was stalking her over the course of approximately one year.
The victim told Detective Sergeant, Jennifer McGarvin, of the St. Johnsbury Police Department that the stalking began while Wallek worked with her at the Department of Children and Families Services Division in St. Johnsbury, Vt.
Wallek is currently on paid administrative leave and is due in court in the middle of June.
