Some Winooski Streets Closed This Evening for Marching Band Para - FOX44 - Burlington / Plattsburgh News, Weather & Sports

There will be some street closures in Winooski from 5 p.m. to approximately 8:30 p.m. due to a marching band parade. 

The following roads will be closed:

• Main Street from Spring Streets to Tigan Street
• Lafountain Street from Main Street to Dion Street
• Bellevue Street from Main Street to Dion Street
• Dion Street from Lafountain Street to Bellevue Street

The parade route will follow from the rear of Winooski High School to George Street east bound, to Franklin Street south bound, to Bellevue Street west bound, to Main Street south bound, to Lafountain Street east bound, to Dion Street north bound, to Bellevue Street west bound, to Franklin Street north bound, to George Street west bound and back to school.

Police say, a detour for Main Street will be to use Weaver Street both north and south between Spring Street and Tigan Street. Signs will be posted.
