NY State Police Arrest Plattsburgh Man For Impersonating a Police Officer

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. -

New York State Police arrested a Plattsburgh man for impersonating a police officer.

State Police say, Kyle P. Wyman, 23, of Plattsburgh, N.Y., stopped a vehicle by using a red light and requested the driver's license and registration from the driver. Wyman questioned the driver and then released him.

After the incident on May 1, the driver of the vehicle contacted State Police on May 5.

Wyman was arrested and charged with 1st degree criminal impersonation. A press release says he is being lodged at the Clinton Community Jail on $3,000 cash bail or $6,000 bond. He is expected to appear in court Thursday.
