Firefighters Save Home from Garage Fire in Dorset, VT Monday

DORSET, Vt. -

Firefighters were able to save a Dorset, Vt. home from a garage fire Monday.

According to a press release, the homeowner, Mark Cameron, woke up to the smell of smoke in the house. He realized the smoke was coming from the garage and saw a fire. When he couldn't extinguish the fire, he called 911 and exited the home.

No one was injured during the fire. The home sustained approximately $75,000 in damage.

The fire is not being considered suspicious, but the cause is unknown. Anyone with any information is asked to contact  Detective Sergeant Nally (802)-229-9191.
