Police are investigating theft of copper cable from Fairpoint Communications in Milton, Vt.
According to a press release, approximately 400-500 feet of copper was stolen sometime between May 4 and May 7. The spools of cable were stored in a locked fenced-in storage area on the property.
The estimated value of the stolen cable is $3,000.
The cable is described as approximately 1.75 inches in width, with multiple strands of colored cables inside the black outer layer.
