Burlington Police Looking for Man Involved in Domestic Assault Early Tuesday

BURLINGTON, Vt. -

Burlington Police are looking for a man involved in a domestic assault early Tuesday morning.

According to a press release, police received a phone call from a resident in the Red Maple Lane Apartment Complex stating there was a disturbance inside one of the apartments and there was blood on the exterior of the door.

Once inside the apartment, police say, they found a male with a non-life threatening stab wound, a female victim who had been physically assaulted, and two small children ages 7 and 9.

Both the female and male victim were sent to Fletcher Allen, the children were not injured.

Police are looking for Anthony Davis, 26, of Burlington, Vt. He is described as a black male, 5'11", and 250 lbs. Police say Davis was last seen fleeing the area on foot wearing a red sweatshirt and dark pants.
