WESTON, Vt. -

Vermont State Police are investigating a residential burglary that happened Saturday afternoon in Weston, Vt.

According to police, a few minutes after Rebecca Robinson, 68, left her residence a person wearing a black ski mask, a light colored hooded sweatshirt and a dark jacket peering into the back windows.

Video surveillance captures the person using a tool to break the glass out of the back door to gain entry into the residence. Police say, the burglar stole various pieces of jewelry.

The video is being sent to a forensic lab for analysis.
