Thousands of cyclists from across the state peddled away with new bikes today. New bikes to them that is. It was the annual Onion River Sports bike swap.
People showed up with mountain bikes, beach cruisers and everything else in between, in search of a different bike to swap out that better suits their needs.
The owner of the shop and bike advocate Andrew Brewer says their motto is "muscles, not motors."
The "Way To Go" challenge runs May 14th through the 18th this year. It's a push for all Vermonters to either bike or walk to work that week.
